Why do you think people would leave a 6 figure job?
If you had a job making 6 or 7 figures of yearly income and great benefits, would you leave?
The majority of us would call somebody that leaves a job like that insane.
You would be living like a king or queen making that amount of money, right? So why would you even be stupid enough to leave?
But there is a reason why people leave a good paying job like that. We heard the stories of how people leave because it was unfulfilling or they want to go after their dreams. We all think that is nuts!!!
But on the contrary…
You may have to ask yourself, what would you do in order to make that amount of money?
Would doing a meaningless, mindless job for 40 years is really what you want? Or a job that just doesn't fulfill you at all worth it? How do you think you would feel after you retire?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing having a job because I have one myself. A lot of people love their jobs, but this is directed only to those that's just focused on the outcome which is money.
What if you had to work 6 days a week, 12 hours a day for the next 40 years doing something you really don't like, but yet you were getting paid 6 or 7 figures. After retirement, do you think you would feel that you wasted your life? Do you even think you'll last 40 years doing something that you hate?
Well a lot of us won't. A lot of us would just keep job hopping until we find something that we like. It pretty difficult to stay in a job that we hate unless we have specific good reasons.
Which relates to why you got into network marketing. Was it just for the money you can more or was it something more?
WHY YOU WON'T LAST IN NETWORK MARKETING IF YOU ONLY FOCUS ON MONEY
So you saw a presentation, and the one thing that caught your eye was the compensation plan. You saw how much money you can make and all you had to do was refer 3 people and they refer 3 people and so on. Once you get everyone in, you're projected to make over $10,000/month.
Is it really that easy?
For most of us it isn't that's been in the industry for a while. If you're really into the money and not the products, services or the business itself, do you think you're going to last long?
You can definitely make money anywhere but quite frankly you have to like what you do for the longevity of it, no matter what obstacles get in your way.
If there is not really good connection between the business and you, then you're going to quit.
What would be best for you?
FOCUS ON WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH MONEY AND FIND WHAT YOU LIKE TO DO
If you really love what you do whether it be a job or a business, and even if you don't make a lot of money, you're going to stay for the long run.
From a job point of view, can you imagine doing what you love 8 hours a day 5 days a week? It's something that would be fulfilling to you so why would you want to leave. Even if a “bad” situation comes up, you're going to try your best not to leave.
Also by focusing on what money can do for you instead of money itself, it would be enhance that longevity for that reason.
Can you imagine if you can tie together what money can do for you and your family and at the same time you really love the work that you do that it's not work but play? It will definitely give you an attractive personality.
This is why when picking a company that you love and loving their products or services, it would be easier for you to market for those reasons. Attracting people would be much easier instead of chasing them and you'll definitely grow your business a lot easier.
